Surgery is a craft I learned in hospital - five years of residency in an emergency department, where your hands are shaped by the cases that cannot be refused. I keep the craft sharp by doing a narrow set of operations, and refusing the ones that belong in someone else's hands.

You will always hear what I actually think - what is urgent, what can wait, and what doesn't need doing at all. If I wouldn't operate on my own family, I won't operate on you.

The best operations are uneventful. I plan on the scan, rehearse the difficult steps, and keep the surprises in the planning room - never in the chair.

An operation ends when you have healed, not when the appointment does. You get clear aftercare and my direct contact.

My week moves between Sibiu and Bucharest. Different addresses, the same instruments, the same protocols, the same person - me.
